We haven't made as much hype as other projects. And we haven't done a drop yet. We decided to take a different approach – lead with an actual game.
FREE-TO-PLAY
The game is free-to-play. You will need a code for this playtest, but the codes are completely free and the game is free-to-play. If you don't have a code, find someone who does to invite you. Or go to our site to apply for the waitlist.
BUGS
There will be bugs! Your first quest is to help us find them. Please post them to the bug-report channel in the Discord. If the game flakes on you, try refreshing and playing again.
KNOW BUGS
1. LONG LAG STARTING A GAME
This is caused by the server waiting for everyone to join the server before it lets you in the game. If you have a player with a slower connection (or far away from you) it can lag waiting for them to confirm they are in. We are fixing this to let people in ASAP individually and will try to fix this as soon as possible.
2. MICROPHONE
Voice chat works. Prox chat is turned off. We have more work to get this functional but decided not to delay the playtest to fix it. However, mic audio can be very low. If you are having trouble hearing others, go to the settings and turn down the volume on music and FX and then crank up your computer volume. Its a workaround for now but we are working on it.
3. "JOINING ROOM FAILED
"It can take a few seconds for the server list to update and its possible you try to join a game after it has already started. If you get this message, try a different server.4. ART BUGS There are random places where characters appear skewed or pieces are missing. We are working on an upgrade to the animation system to fix this.
4. RANDOM JAVASCRIPT CRASH
We're investigating this one now.
PLAY 5 TO GET A BETA HAT
You have to play the game 5 times to get the beta hat. The game does not tell you this but that is what is required for the hat to be rewarded.
